Officials Clinics

May 29, 8pm , Olney, advanced referee – all current referees needing to recertify

June 1, 8am, Olney, full clinic – starter, referee & S&T

June 8, 8am – Olney, full clinic – starter, referee & S&T

All clinics will end no later than noon. Another clinic is to be scheduled in late June at North Creek

    5/27 - Rookie practice for all new Swim Team members and for those children who are not sure if they are ready for the Swim Team: 4:00 PM

    5/28 - Practice begins for all members of the Swim Team: 4:00 PM

    6/04 - Mandatory Parent Meeting (6:00 new parents, 6:30 returning parents) under the Pavilion

    6/06 - Swim Team Dues due for free t-shirt
    All registration forms and payments are due.

    6/07 - Time trials! Arrive at MCT at 7:45 AM; Start time at 9:00 AM

    6/09 - Ticket Sales begin for Family Dinner

    6/11 Deadline for swim team refund requests (non pre-team)

    6/12 Last day of MCPS schools

    6/13 - First "summer" practice Pre-Team starts Monday!- Pep Rally- Family Dinner-Sign up for B-Meet

    Tuesday, May 27 - Rookie Practice (for all new swimmers)

    4:00 - 5:00 p.m.8 and unders
    5:00 - 6:00 p.m.9 - 12 years olds
    6:00 - TBA 13 - 18 year olds
    Wednesday, May 28 - 1st day of practice (for all other swimmers)

    NOTE: Whole Team Swim Practice (Pre-team begins after school gets out…Monday, June 16th) Monday-Friday afternoons

    4:00 - 5:00 p.m. 8 and unders
    5:00 - 6:00 p.m. 9 - 12 year olds
    6:00 - 7:00 p.m.13 - 18 year olds

    2008 Summer Practice Schedule

     The summer practice schedule begins on Friday, June 13th. The schedule is as follows:

    Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri mornings

    8:00 - 9:15 a.m. 13 & over
    9:15 - 10:15 a.m. 9 - 12 yr olds
    10:15 -11:00 a.m.8 & unders
    Thursday morning "post B Meet practice"

    8:30 - 9:30 a.m.13 & over
    9:30 - 10:30 a.m.9 -12 yr olds, 8 & unders
    10:30 - ? Donuts, ribbons
    Mon, Tues, Thurs afternoons

    4:30 - 5:15 p.m.8 & unders
    5:15 - 6:00 p.m.9 - 12 yr olds
    6:00 - 7:00 p.m.13 & over
    Friday afternoon Start & Turn Clinic

    4:30-5:15 p.m. 11 & Unders

    Swim team practices will be held as scheduled, even when it is cold or raining. the only time that pracice may be cancelled is if there is a storm with thunder and lightening. In that case, call the pool to see if there is practice.
